Volunteer Requirements

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older (or 16+ with parental/guardian consent, where applicable).
  • Demonstrated interest in community service, humanitarian work, or Joy in Giving's mission.
  • Ability to commit to the agreed-upon volunteering schedule.

Skills & Qualities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and adaptability in challenging environments.

Availability & Commitment

  • Minimum commitment period (e.g. 3–6 months, depending on role).
  • Punctuality and regular attendance.
  • Willingness to attend training sessions, meetings, briefings and be available for projects.
