Joy in Giving Receives Walmart Spark Good Grant
Joy in Giving Foundation has received a boost to its community outreach efforts through a Spark Good Local Grant from Walmart. The grant, awarded by store #494 in Newnan, Georgia, will support the foundation’s ongoing initiatives focused on uplifting underserved communities through education, sports, and essential resources.
The funding will directly enhance the foundation’s upcoming “Back To School with JOY” project which will provide backpacks and essential school supplies to about 100 orphans.

The CEO of the foundation, Joyce Midley-Quainoo expressed gratitude for the partnership, noting that the support from Walmart reflects a shared commitment to creating positive change at the grassroots level. “This grant empowers us to reach more children and families, spreading hope and practical support where it’s needed most.”
Through collaborations like this, Joy in Giving Foundation continues to expand its impact—demonstrating that when communities come together, small acts of generosity can spark lasting transformation.
